Fifth Anniversary International Youth Conference in Barcelona

Welcome to a unique meeting on current issues with a particular focus on democracy and openness.
The meeting is organized by the International Youth Think Tank, which was founded 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden, by the former EU-Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and me. We are a think tank in which youth take the lead for empowerment and democracy innovation.
For the fifth year in a row, we are organizing a week-long conference with 24 young people from many countries aged 18–24. Numbers that signify our outreach is that 540 people have applied to this year’s conference. Barcelona, the first city in the new venture European Capital of Democracy, are graciously hosting our fifth anniversary conference.
You will meet the 24 conference participants who will present their almost finished proposals. You alternate between four groups of conference participants and share your views on their proposals.
