WELCOME TO THE SAHLGRENSKA GLOBAL HEALTH HACKATHON!

Sahlgrenska Global Health Hackathon is a bold initiative where we have a vision to bring together individuals all over the world, from all kinds of sectors and industries, aiming to solve the five biggest challenges in health care today.

Sahlgrenska Global Health Hackathon is being led by Sahlgrenska Science Park in Gothenburg, Sweden, in close collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg – and together with global partners including AstraZeneca, Mölnlycke Healthcare, Microsoft, AFRY, Business Region Göteborg, GoCo Health Innovation City, Boston Consulting Group, SwedenBIO, PrecisEU

Sahlgrenska Global Health Hackathon is coming to Barcelona on Feb 22-23. Local organizing hosts are Biocat and AstraZeneca Spain.

The Sahlgrenska Global Health Hackathon brings together students, researchers, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators from diverse sectors in ten innovation hotspots around the world.

The goal: Develop innovative, cutting-edge solutions to address some of the world’s most pressing global health challenges through coaction and creativity.

Healthcare systems worldwide face unprecedented challenges. Aging populations, chronic diseases and unequal access to care demand more than traditional approaches—bold innovation, cross-sector collaboration and technological advancements are crucial.

Everyone is invited—no coding experience required. Bring your ideas, perspectives, and enthusiasm. We’ll provide mentorship, guidance and support to turn your ideas into reality.
